Primary Job Responsibilities:

Successful candidates will have the ability to formulate, develop and apply advanced engineering concepts to achieve successful completion of assignments.

• Will carry out their duties with minimal supervision.
• Will also provide technical support for the evaluation, design, implementation, and posting of well analysis for all phases of drilling, completion, and workover operations.
• Responsible for risk assessments and operational decisions.
• Coordinate and supervise the engineering resources necessary to meet technical and operational requirements
• Review and approve well plans for drilling, completion, workover, and high-pressure well intervention operations
• Maintain drilling bookkeeping records for determining standards, goals, training and regulatory compliance
• Negotiate, recommend and engage contractor services
• Review and approve invoices
• Maintain required safety training and compliance procedures

Experience/Qualifications:

• 8+ years experience
• Desired expertise: Design Engineer, Directional Driller, Safety Engineer, Horizontal Drilling
• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering related discipline and a minimum of eight years experience in drilling, completion, and workover engineering activities
• Knowledge of all field operations, rig selection, equipment selection and personnel requirements
• Proficient in the supervision of all phases of drilling, completion and workover operations
